The Southern Eastern University (USA), Faculty  of Theology & Religious Studies offers the following Degrees
:
Bachelor of Theology.        B.Th (Hons)
Bachelor of Divinity.     BD (Hons)
Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies.      BA Religious Studies (Hons)
Bachelor of Arts in Ministry.       BA Ministry (Hons)
Master of Theology.      M.Th
Master of Divinity.     M.Div.
Doctor of Theology.     ThD
Doctor of Divinity.    DD
Doctor of Philosophy.    PhD
in Theology

in Divinity

in Religious Studies

With each level of Degree, candidates can choose which they prefer.  The words ‘Divinity’ and ‘Theology’ are very closely related and are sometimes inter-changeable.  However, it is usually accepted that Divinity concentrated on the nature of the Divine, (God, Deity) and the relationship of the Divine to other beings, whereas Theology more closely concerns the systematic study of the Christian revelation concerning God’s nature and purpose.

With regard to the Christianity, SEU does not subscribe to any set Articles of Faith and is entirely non-denominational in its outlook.  SEU considers the mark of intellectual honesty is the encouragement of opposing points of view.

However, whereas the main emphasis of the Faculty is on Christianity, the Degrees relating to Religious Studies allow studies to be wider to include or embrace any other religion.

Shortly after graduating with Southern Eastern University, with my BA Honour’s Degree in Biblical Counselling, the windows of opportunity opened for me straight away. I was offered the position by The State of Michigan with one of the largest Chaplain organizations in the United States and now am able to minister on a professional clinical level as well as a spiritual level. One the the requirements was a Degree from an accepted University. I am also, as a result of my Degree, eligible for Affiliate Membership of the American Association of Pastoral Councillors (AAPC) and am working to become a Certified Chaplain with the Occupational Chaplains of America (OCA), none of which would have been possible without God and without Southern Eastern’s u

After graduating from Southern Eastern University with a Bachelors of Arts in Theology and a Master of Arts in Theology it opened tremendous opportunities and doors for my ministry that otherwise would not have been possible as a pastor and leader. SEU provided me the opportunity in that II was able to be a visiting speaker at a large theological conference held in the North of England which was attended by numerous prominent religious officials in various religious organizations, where I was able to give exposure and exegesis to the Word of God; I also was recently appointed as an Executive Director of Age Concern in the United Kingdom and recently appointed as an Executive Director to a Local Area Advisory Centre in Liverpool associated with the Citizens Advice Bureau of England and Wales. I travel regularly around the world and just returned from a conference in Paris, France where I was able to use my training in biblical and theological studies to minister effectively to a number of people by the grace of God. I am grateful and thankful that SEU’s unique program has provided me opportunities that otherwise would not have been possible."
