Southern Eastern University (USA) was chartered, pursuant to the Corporation Laws of the State of Arkansas (Act 958 of 1987), by the Secretary of State for Arkansas, under the Chartered Corporation Division, No.106650.   The University is of Good Standing and a copy of the Secretary of State’s Certificate of Good Standing for the current year can be obtained from SEU on request.  The Charter of the University was approved in the Circuit Court of Logan County Arkansas, by Judge Charles H. Eddy, pursuant to the above laws, finding and approving that the University is lawful and that its Charter is in the best interests of the public.  The Order was given in Case No. CIV-93-26, Division 1, 8-24-93.

Southern Eastern (SEU) is the operating title of the UK Branch of SEU and was registered at Companies House in the UK, through the Department of the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry pursuant to Schedule 21A to the Companies Act 1985, under Company Number FCO23251, Branch No. BR006097.

It must be emphasised that all degrees are granted by Southern Eastern University (USA), which is not a UK institution.  They are not UK granted degrees. This Notice is given to comply with the requirements of s.214(1) and s. 214 (4b) The Education Reform Act 1988.
